The Department of Libraries seeks a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager III to oversee and manage the Department's US Treasury (Treasury) American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Capital Projects Fund (CPF) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Public Facilities Preservation Initiative Grants (PFPIG) to support capital improvements at public libraries in Vermont. Under the direct supervision of the Commissioner, this position is the principal contact for the Department's capital grant programs. This position administers the two grant programs to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations throughout the grant lifecycle. The successful candidate will manage $26.4 million in federal funds designated for public library capital projects and ensure these projects meet completion deadlines and regulatory compliance.This position may be eligible for hybrid work up to two days per week pending supervisor approval.
