Performs complex professional and technical accounting activities related to the processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions. Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial and accounting records and reports in compliance with governmental accounting standards. Provides technical input in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures; participates in the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and other mandated financial reports. Ensures adherence to internal control, work quality standards, and accuracy requirements. Works collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to provide responsive financial reporting support and performs related duties as required.
