About The Position

General Summary: The Manager, Financial Reporting, will be leading financial close, providing reporting and analysis of current operating results and will support key aspects of most internal and external reporting and related analysis. This will include ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP requirements, performing accounting research, establishing accounting positions, and financial statements preparation. The ideal candidate will also bring strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to process improvements. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Lead financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting following internal and external deadlines. Oversee preparation and review of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Manage accurate and timely completion of general ledger accounts reconciliation. Research and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions. Manage the implementation of new accounting guidance. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and internal policies. Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting, including development of policies and documentation of processes and key controls. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools. Participate and oversee the development of the department’s work plan, assign work activities, projects and programs. Monitor workflow, review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures. Manage internal and external audit processes. Assist Director, Financial Reporting, in coordination with auditors and preparation of audited financial statements. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align understanding, enhance transparency and efficiency, and support business initiatives. Asist Director, Financial Reporting, in developing succession planning for all team members in department. Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members. Promote a collaborative and high‑performing team culture.

Requirements

  • Strong background in U.S. GAAP
  • Ability to interpret and implement new accounting standards
  • Advanced skills in financial statements, financial analysis and reconciliation
  • Strong problem‑solving ability, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years related job experience with public accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience managing financial close in a complex, multi-entity environment preferred
  • MS Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as Blackline, Lawson, PeopleSoft or SAP required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
