About The Position

The Financial Intern supports business and financial operations by assisting with data analysis, financial reporting, cost tracking, and process documentation. This role provides hands‑on exposure to financial controls, budgeting, and business decision support in a regulated, quality‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Foundational financial and business principles
  • Basic understanding of budgets, revenue, and cost structures
  • Awareness of how market and business inputs impact financial outcomes
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (basic formulas, data organization)
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and summarize financial data
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling, organizing, and maintaining financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
  • Support preparation of monthly and quarterly financial summaries
  • Track expenses, invoices, and project costs against approved budgets
  • Perform basic variance analysis and validate financial data for accuracy
  • Support internal financial processes and workflows
  • Assist with financial dashboards, trackers, and spreadsheets
  • Maintain documentation for financial procedures and internal controls
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to cost efficiency
  • Follow internal financial best practices and procedures
  • Support documentation aligned with internal governance and audit readiness
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information
  • Learn and apply best practices related to financial accuracy, traceability, and controls
  • Collaborate with Business Managers, Project Managers, and Operations teams
  • Support ad‑hoc financial requests from leadership
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and learning activities
