About The Position

KBRA (Kroll Bond Rating Agency) is seeking an Analyst to join its Financial Institution’s Group. This position offers a successful candidate the opportunity to grow and advance as a ratings and financial institutions research professional in a demanding and dynamic environment. Ability to develop specialized analytical skills in terms of financial statement analysis including ratio analysis for a variety of financial sectors Demonstrated attention to detail skills and willingness to see that tasks are followed through to completion Play a key role in the production of standardized research and ad hoc reports including extensive use of Excel for data population and manipulation for use in published analytical reports Willingness to collaborate with analysts in disparate locations and learn new skills

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (with a preference for at least 12 semester hours or four courses in accounting if not an accounting major)
Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or, accounting,
Strong proficiency with Excel including Macros, VLOOKUP’s, and Pivot Tables
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
