About The Position

UFG is currently hiring a Financial Data Analyst to support the accuracy,
completeness, and reliability of financial data used across Finance reporting
and analysis. This role focuses on execution of reconciliations, data
validation, reporting support, and issue resolution under guidance from the
Manager and Senior Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in financial systems or ERP support
• Basic understanding of financial systems
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Reporting tools & workflows a plus (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)

Responsibilities

• Execute financial data reconciliations across systems and reports
• Investigate data discrepancies and support timely resolution
• Validate data used in close, regulatory, statutory, and management reporting
• Assist with preparation and validation of financial reports
• Support Finance stakeholders by ensuring data availability and consistency
• Maintain documentation related to data sources and reconciliations
• Support SOX and audit activities by preparing data evidence and documentation
• Follow established data governance and financial control processes
• Identify recurring data issues and recommend improvements
• Support automation and standardization initiatives as directed
