Financial Controller
About The Position
A leading food distribution company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the organization’s accounting and finance functions. This role reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with the senior management team to support financial strategy and operations. Operational review of information flows and suggestions for improvements. Issue policies and procedure statements, as necessary Improve internal financial reporting and streamline where possible Manage our overall accounting function and monthly close Assist in analytical review of our business segments Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership review Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables and V-lookups), ERP systems
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong organizational skills with a great attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices.
- Excellent communication skills
