About The Position

Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a Financial Compliance & Audit Specialist to support a high-visibility, mission-critical Navy program. This role operates at the intersection of financial compliance, audit readiness, and strategic intelligence, requiring an individual who can assess complex environments, identify risks, and deliver executive-level insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Strong research and analytical skills across geopolitics, economics, and emerging technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to move quickly between diverse subject areas and conduct deep analytical research
  • Executive-level writing and briefing skills, including development of PowerPoint briefings
  • Experience structuring analytical products such as white papers, snapshot reports, and decision briefs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and professionalism when briefing senior leadership
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently from problem framing through final analytical delivery
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to synthesize complex information quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance preferred
  • Prior experience within the Intelligence Community, military staff environments, or national security organizations
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or executive-level decision making
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools and technologies to enhance research workflows

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial compliance reviews and audit readiness assessments in alignment with DoD and Navy requirements
  • Analyze financial, operational, and program data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Develop executive-level briefings, white papers, snapshot reports, and decision support materials
  • Perform strategic research and analysis across geopolitics, economics, and technology domains as they relate to mission and financial impact
  • Support audit activities, including documentation review, control validation, and corrective action tracking
  • Translate complex findings into clear, concise insights to inform leadership decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, program management, and technical stakeholders
  • Operate independently from problem framing through solution delivery in a fast-paced environment
