Requirements

An active DoD TS-SCI clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through the proper chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support posted access control requirements in accordance with site policies.
Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related communications, incident reporting, and follow-up on policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or operational disruptions.
