About The Position

The Financial Analyst serves as a key contributor and subject matter expert in financial and analytical intelligence. This role supports budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting efforts while assisting in the development and implementation of financial and operational reporting systems, analytical tools, and performance dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or strategic financial planning
  • Experience with business intelligence software/platforms
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative analytical skills
  • Data-driven and goal-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities
  • Demonstrated record of innovation, execution, and delivering results in a performance-driven culture

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reporting
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Track and analyze key financial metrics; prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Identify and explain variances between actual and forecasted performance
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasting
  • Conduct pricing strategy analysis and evaluate impacts on sales, revenue, and profitability
  • Develop predictive pricing models and recommend optimization strategies
  • Analyze commodity markets and incorporate trends into variable pricing models
  • Develop financial forecasts and conduct trend analysis to anticipate market changes affecting pricing and margins
  • Evaluate product and service margins; identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide insights supporting cost management and margin enhancement initiatives
  • Analyze local, national, and global market trends impacting the organization and industry
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data analysis and financial reporting
  • Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by the Senior Manager of Finance and Vice President of Finance
