About The Position

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst with a Secret Clearance in Washington, DC to support our government customer. This position is onsite. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for public sector finance and budgeting, funds tracking, assisting with budgetary projections, and the administration of interagency agreements and documentation. Enter verified data, organize, review and analyze financial documents, and track incoming funding and outgoing obligations and expenditures via Department of State, and legacy USAID if applicable, established financial systems as well as in Microsoft Excel. Research and provide technical reports and oral briefings. Assist the AF assistance enterprise, to include the AF/A/PMC, the regional hubs and U.S. embassy-based staff, in preparation and administration of a program’s financial milestones through the grant and contract lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout. Assist AF/A/PMC in program oversight as relates to cost projections, invoices, and current and out-year funding needs. This could extend and include financial audits of organizations implementing AF-managed foreign assistance. Draft and submit, with U.S. Direct Hire approval, funding requisitions. Assist the CORs/GORs in the preparation and administration of a program’s financial milestones throughout the grant and contract lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout. Prepare invoices and associated documents for the COR/GORs’ review and approval. Maintain AF-wide foreign assistance tracker providing a centralized ability to maintain complete awareness of AF-managed foreign assistance funds. Assist the COR/GOR in developing and maintaining program budgets and associated cost-related spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of current federal budget policies and regulation and the ability to apply them to the work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or experience related to the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties
  • Five (5) years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Three (3) years of experience with invoicing as necessary to assist in overseeing contract and grant billings.
  • Three (3) years of experience with price analysis and cost accounting techniques and procedures and developing IGCEs with input from the program manager.
