About The Position

Financial Analyst (Mid-Level) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) team is hiring an experienced Financial Analyst to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) programs located in Hazelwood, MO . On our team you will be a Business Unit Integrator (BUI), working directly with Program and Project Managers administering cost and schedule baselines, financial Estimate at Completes (EACs), monthly financial reporting/forecasting, long range business plans and variance analysis for government defense programs. These are dynamic programs with opportunities to also interface with Supply Chain, Contracts, Material Cost Analysis, Estimating and Senior Leadership, offering a significant development opportunity with excellent functional & cross-functional visibility. This position is hybrid with the selected candidate required to work onsite 3 days or more per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Analysis, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement
  • Financial Analysis Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • Experience with LRBP, forecasting and performing Estimates at Complete (EAC)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the financial advisor to the F/A-18 BCOI and Transactional program managers, leading the program team to complete budget baselines and successfully manage program performance.
  • Develop and brief quarterly financial estimates at complete (EACs), including a Major EAC, to senior levels of management. This task includes detailed analysis and incorporation of program status on contract metrics.
  • Participate in monthly cross-functional working group Sales, Inventory & Operations Process (SI&OP) and perform in depth analysis to ensure the procurement plan is maintained within budget and that material is procured in an efficient/affordable manner.
  • Monthly budget distribution following SI&OP approved order releases.
  • Long Rage Business Plans (LRBP) and forecast inputs including expenditures and receipts analysis, and risks and opportunities analysis of contract performance.
  • Prepare CDRL’s such as the Quarterly Limitation of Payments (QLOP) and CSDR as applicable
  • Provide detailed and high priority support to internal and external auditors with Deloitte and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
