This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead financial forecasting efforts, guide decision-making with data-driven insights, and collaborate effectively across functional and technical teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
At least 5 years of experience in financial management, including 3+ years supporting NAVWAR or DoD programs.
Microsoft Excel capabilities; comfort with pivot tables, financial models, and scenario planning.
Demonstrated proficiency with financial systems and data integration tools (e.g., ERP systems, Business Intelligence platforms).
Proven track record in strategic planning, risk analysis, and budget execution for complex federal programs.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate technical or operational risks into financial language.
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams with a high level of autonomy.

Nice To Haves

Active DoD SECRET clearance (preferred) or the ability to obtain one.
Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes and federal appropriations lifecycle.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerBI or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support preparation of complex monthly financial reports using standardized processes and templates; provide strategic insights that inform leadership decisions.
Monitor and analyze program spending, proactively identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain alignment with financial targets.
Own and maintain the execution reporting, ensuring accuracy across Labor Rosters, burn rates, and multiple budget lines.
Develop executive-level slide decks and tailored briefings that synthesize financial data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, offering risk-informed financial strategies and surfacing issues before they impact program outcomes.
