We have an opening for a Financial Analyst to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work independently following established procedures to provide support and assistance to the financial management team. Perform routine budget analysis and resource management duties and be responsible for an annual budget of up to $15M. Will collect and disseminate information and identify and resolve issues. This position is in the Engineering Division of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Organization. This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization. You will Provide general financial and/or business analysis and task support to the financial team. Track and monitor funding, costing, and workforce information; perform elementary analysis in researching variances and recommending corrective actions related to financial, business, and workforce issues. Assist senior-level personnel in the formulation of work proposals for DOE/NNSA direct, Work-for-Others (WFO), and indirect funding sources. Interpret and apply Laboratory, LLNS and DOE/NNSA policies, procedures and processes to ensure work is in compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide information and assistance to others within scope of assignment. Foster effective relationships with customers and colleagues, participate in directorate working groups. Perform other duties as assigned.
