About The Position

Gaudenzia is seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A) to support the organization's budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis activities across Gaudenzia's multi-site behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. This role is responsible for developing accurate, well-supported analyses that inform operational, clinical, and executive decision-making. Working closely with the Director of FP&A, Accounting, and other cross-functional leaders, the Financial Analyst helps translate complex operational drivers into clear financial insights that support sustainability, compliance, and strategic planning. This position is designed for an analytically strong finance professional seeking to grow within FP&A in a healthcare or nonprofit environment.

  • Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Commitment to professional growth / career development.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including structured model design, pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis, and clean documentation practices.

  • Working knowledge of program-level P&L analysis in a multi-program, multi-funding-source environment including detailed variance analysis.

  • Ability to identify emerging risks early and escalate issues with clarity and support analysis.
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to distinguish between signal and noise in complex financial data.
  • Ability to clearly explain financial results and drivers to non-finance stakeholders, including clinical and operational leaders.
  • Comfortable preparing materials that may be used in executive or Board-level discussions, under FP&A leadership guidance.
  • High degree of personal accountability for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and persistence in understanding why numbers move—not just reporting that they moved.
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of enterprise-level objectives.
  • Comfortable working independently while remaining aligned with FP&A priorities.
  • Coachable, intellectually curious, and receptive to feedback in a high-standards environment
