About The Position
Excela Protect is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our growing Reinsurance team onsite in Charleston, SC. Excela Protect is a fast-growing, technology-driven, dealer-centric administrator on a mission to modernize the F&I industry through transparency, efficiency, and exceptional service. In this role you will support our Reinsurance team by delivering data-driven insights that inform business and underwriting decisions. This role analyzes financial and underwriting data, develops reporting solutions, and collaborates closely with Finance, Accounting, and Underwriting teams to support strategic initiatives and operational performance. Requirements
- Detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset
- Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or relevant certification a plus.
- Experience with SQL and cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; and experience with Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis on financial and underwriting data, translating findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for internal teams and dealer partners.
- Extract, clean and organize data from various sources, including our internal data warehouse, while upholding standards of data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain relationships with dealer partners by providing after-sales support and insights.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate or streamline financial and operational reporting processes.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present complex data clearly.
