About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for evaluating, forecasting, and providing accurate and timely information on the company’s budget, key performance indicators, statistics, profitability, growth, solvency, stability, and liquidity. At the heart of this position is the ability to support partners and leadership making decisions regarding the best use of resources to achieve business objectives. The Financial Analyst will be expected to produce regular reports, using financial data, and work collaboratively across the entire company to analyze business performance and strategy. This position requires the ability to multitask and prioritize meeting tight deadlines with accuracy in a fast path healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field required
  • Minimum of four plus years of progressive Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or relevant experience required
  • Ability to demonstrate clear communication of insights to both financial and non financial stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced financial modeling and analytics capabilities required
  • Healthcare RCM & EMR analysis experience required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Nice To Haves

  • master’s in business administration, accounting or related field preferred
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Builds annual operating budgets across outpatient clinics, ancillary services, and specialty programs.
  • Develops cash flow forecasts that incorporate payer mix realities, reimbursement timelines, visit volumes, and seasonal outpatient utilization trends.
  • Maintains rolling forecasts and variance analysis reports to support operational decision making.
  • Analyzes charge capture, coding accuracy and collection performance specific to each division.
  • Supports partner RCM auditing by validating coding, charges, claim edits, and underpayments.
  • Builds pro formas and financial models for new outpatient clinics, PSA/MSA partner agreements, specialty service lines, programs, and expansion initiatives.
  • Conducts break even, ROI, and sensitivity analysis on new site openings, technology investments, and care delivery changes.
  • Evaluates patient volume projections, provider staffing needs, and operational cost structures.
  • Calculations provide compensation including wRVUs, productivity incentives, quality bonuses, and clinic specific pay structures.
  • Analyzes provider schedules, visit volume and KPI performance
  • Builds reports and dashboards to track clinic and provider performance against benchmarks.
  • Assists with creating financial statements, monthly reporting packets, and clinic level P&Ls.
  • Develops automated dashboards and visual analytics in Tableau to improve visibility into operating performance, RCM, productivity, and financial KPIs.
  • Maintains data integrity across reporting systems and contribute to the implementation of new reporting tools and workflows.
