Financial Analyst (FP&A) – Hybrid | Washington, DC (Dupont Circle) A privately owned, fast-growing AI and data analytics organization—serving healthcare, pharma/clinical trials, government, and academic clients—is seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A) to support continued expansion. The company is scaling quickly (currently ~$10M, projected ~$15M by year‑end) and is adding staff to strengthen its finance function. About the Role The Financial Analyst will serve as the bridge between an overseas outsourced accounting team and the local CFO , supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone sharp, collaborative, curious, and eager to learn—the culture emphasizes attitude and team fit over checking every technical box. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com
• Exposure to AI, healthcare, or tech environments
• Project-based accounting or data analytics experience

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A activities: forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic insights.
• Maintain and enhance financial models used for planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and operational drivers.
• Create management-level reporting and dashboards.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial recommendations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting accuracy.
