About The Position

This position provides financial analysis to Global Partnerships and Media (GPM), Finance, and Legal. Primary role is to partner with GPM to provide financial rigor on all Licensing and Sponsorship agreements, monthly financial summaries to department heads and other key stakeholders, and work with departments to achieve short- and long-term financial goals. This role plays a significant role in the development of deal profitability statements to maximize the value of our rights.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or related business field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience (max 10) in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate strategy, or related field
  • Ability to influence outcome and demonstrated agent of change
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly and effectively
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience with AI to maximize productivity i.e. data analysis automation, reporting tools, or another area

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the annual business plan, including capital expenditures and new global investment opportunities
  • Prepare forecasts including variance analysis, guidance to regions for US-led deals, and entry into our business planning system
  • Month-end close responsibilities include expense accruals, revenue recognition support, and P&L review and signoff
  • Distribute monthly financial results, identifying areas of risk and working with department to mitigate those risks
  • Act as primary liaison between the business and finance sub-groups (such as Central Finance, Fax, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement)
  • Maintain lines of communication between business and finance to resolve issues, clarify transitions, and ensure correct expense/payment coding
  • Support administration of contract management systems for Merchandising and Sponsorship
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accuracy at year-end of P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Work with Accounts Receivable and account teams to ensure timely collection of receivables and proper application of payments
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required
