Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges. In this role, you will create financial models and drive strategic analyses to investigate business questions impacting the YouTube Creator Ecosystem. You will lead projects, provide analytical support, and develop a Finance point of view (POV) for several creator-centric initiatives, including brand sponsorships and paid creator promotion. You will help build an understanding of cause and effect between product updates or strategic investments and creator earnings across various surfaces and products, using these insights to inform decision making and financial long-term and annual planning. As a key contributor in a high-energy environment, you will analyze financial data to generate data-driven solutions and communicate insights to leadership. You are experienced in complex financial modeling and can identify business issues while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams, including product activation/GTM and product. You will be organized, entrepreneurial, and take initiative capable of making recommendations based on ambiguous or incomplete data. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
