Summary of Position The Financial Analyst Intern will support the Global Finance organization within the organization, partnering closely with the Finance Director supporting global operations. This role provides exposure to international manufacturing finance, operational performance analysis, capital planning, and global standardization initiatives. The intern will assist in financial modeling, reporting, data analysis, and executive-level presentation preparation. Additionally, the role will support key global finance initiatives including rate standardization, Capex forecast optimization, and finance capability development programs.

Requirements

  • Major(s): Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics
  • Preferred Coursework: Financial Accounting, Managerial / Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance. Financial Modeling, Capital Budgeting. Operations Management, Data Analysis
  • GPA: Min 3.0
  • Class Year(s): Graduating Senior
  • Availability: Must be available to work in Saint Petersburg, Florida from May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, basic macros preferred)
  • PowerPoint (executive-level presentation development)
  • Power BI or Tableau (data visualization preferred)
  • SAP or other ERP systems exposure (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Microsoft Teams / SharePoint collaboration tools
  • Financial modeling
  • Variance analysis
  • Cost analysis
  • Capital investment evaluation (NPV, IRR, Payback)
  • Data cleaning and structuring
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing cost structures
  • Self-starter - Ability to drive work

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial analysis for global operations
  • Assist in variance analysis (actual vs forecast vs budget)
  • Support global rate standardization initiatives (data gathering, benchmarking, scenario modeling)
  • Perform ROI and payback analysis for capital investment proposals
  • Support financial modeling for productivity and cost improvement initiatives
  • Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Support standardization of financial templates and reporting structures
  • Assist with consolidation of data across multiple sites/regions
