As a Line Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and supporting our corporate FP&A function. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills to produce corporate level executive reporting, including putting together monthly actuals vs budget reporting and quarterly board presentations for the CFO, as well as research corporate level variances, and work with line finance partners to consolidate their variance explanations and tell the overarching story. This role requires technical proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, general business, or a related field; certifications are a plus
  • You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in FP&A
  • You have advanced knowledge finance & accounting principles, and financial acumen within the banking industry
  • You have enjoy buidling relationships across different groups and teams

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of managerial reporting
  • Variance analysis and finding key drivers
  • Assist line of business leaders with tracking their expenses and reporting variances, including month over month and budget vs actuals
  • Explain financial results to non-finance teams
  • Assist with monthly close process, including but not limited to expense tracking, general ledger corrections and accruals
  • Calculate payments of incentive plans
  • Create financial reporting & business analysis identifying and using key business drivers
  • Forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning linking financial plans to the strategy
