About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Financial Analyst I for their Financial Planning department. This role is integral to the mission of extending God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for providing facility leadership with comprehensive analysis and reports concerning revenue, expenses, utilization, and productivity. Key duties include assisting finance and financial planning teams with budget preparation and variance monitoring, supporting the monthly financial close process by providing necessary documentation, completing Capital Expense Request forms, and ensuring compliance with all privacy standards and relevant state and federal regulations. The position also involves other tasks related to the financial operations of the facility as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
  • 0-3 years of experience in healthcare finance or related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide facility leadership with analysis and reports/presentations regarding the facility’s revenue, expenses, utilization, productivity, and other ad hoc reports as requested
  • Assist the finance and financial planning teams in preparing facility expense budgets and monitor variances monthly
  • Provide all necessary information/supporting documentation to assist accounting and finance teams in completing the monthly financial close process
  • Complete Capital Expense Request forms and obtain the appropriate authorizing signatures for all capital expense requests for the facility
  • Comply with all privacy standards of the facility and the healthcare system, and other state and federal regulations as they apply
  • Other tasks related to the financial operations of the facility as assigned
