About The Position

Summary Job Description: Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Department. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN. The Financial Analyst assists with supporting BHMG senior and department leadership with overall financial accountability in achieving approved budget targets. Assists with providing financial and analytical support including researching, analyzing, summarizing and documenting key performance indicators such as budget vs. actual and trended variance for revenue and expense accounts. Assists with reporting needs on a monthly, yearly and ad hoc basis. Assists with compilation of market rolling forecasts and capital projections, including key volume assumptions, revenue rate assumptions, expense inflation assumptions, labor targets and other initiatives. Assist in the capital planning process, including navigating the capital approval and prioritization process, drafting of business briefs and plans and monitoring projected estimates to complete on approved projects. Assists with compilation of annual operating and capital budgets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics or Business required. Experience in public accounting, budgeting or financial planning highly preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.
