About The Position

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We're looking for a Financial Analyst I who's eager to make an impact through accurate financial reporting, smart analysis, and a focus on continuous improvement. In this role, you'll support financial and business performance, risk management, and compliance efforts across the division — ensuring we meet international financial reporting standards (IFRS), government regulations, and Bill 198/Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
0-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; IFRS exposure a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
A hands-on, detail-oriented approach and the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

CPA designation or active pursuit (preferred).

Responsibilities

Manage general accounting activities — including cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, expense reports, and general ledger transactions.
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and monthly financial reports.
Support month-end and year-end close processes in compliance with IFRS standards.
Create financial results presentations and cost analyses with insights and improvement recommendations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Maintain proper controls, segregation of duties, and safeguard company assets.
Lead or participate in internal and external audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with other departments to support business initiatives with data-driven insights.
