About The Position

NuCO2 is the largest and only nationwide provider of beverage quality bulk CO2 services for the food service and hospitality industry. We are the driving force in the transformation from high pressure cylinders to bulk CO2 systems and safer hassle-free carbonation systems. We currently service over 130,000 customers and carbonate millions of beverages daily! We have an exciting & challenging Finance position for a professional who has demonstrated knowledge in financial analysis and an ability to quickly grasp financial & accounting concepts, policies, and procedures. The Financial Analyst I will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Business Analytics, supporting the FP&A team by assisting in financial data analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
• 0-2 years’ experience in a Finance or Data Analytics role, with demonstrated understanding of financial modeling & forecasting techniques
• Proficiency in MS Office - specifically Excel & PowerPoint
• Basic SQL knowledge & understanding of relational databases
• Highly detail-oriented, with strong planning & organizational skills
• Comfortable working both independently & collaboratively with different levels of the organization
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and comfortable communicating to gain clarity, when needed

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
• Experience with SQL, R, or Python
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• AFP-Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FPAC)
• INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting & variance analyses
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support budgeting & forecasting processes using ERP & BI tools (e.g., JDE, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Extract, clean & analyze large datasets from SQL databases to identify trends and turn into actionable insights
• Analyze financial data & create financial models for decision support
• Develop & maintain dashboards and automated reports for performance monitoring, ranging from operational metrics to cost controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations, including, but not limited to, assisting in evaluation of potential productivity initiatives
