Givaudan Fragrances Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst - Fragrance & Beauty – North America toanalyze financial and operational performance of company’s North America Fragrance and Beauty sector.Provide financial analysis for business unit-related investments and advise regional management on decisionsrelated to investments, expenses, account assignments, headcount, and resource allocation. Conduct financialanalysis and investigate variances, report discrepancies, and highlight issues. Ensure alignment with financialand operational goals. Prepare sales and operating expense forecasts for assigned business units and accounts.Prepare monthly reporting package containing Sales, Margin, Opex analysis, headcount, and overall businessperformance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic account planning. Collaborate with regional andglobal teams to meet performance objectives, supports strategic initiatives, and partners with the PricingDepartment on negotiations to evaluate financial impacts and develop strategic approaches. Drive businessintelligence metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring robust performance reporting forboth Consumer Products and Fine Fragrance divisions. Ensure data integrity and consistency with systemsrequirements. Contribute to capital expenditure projects, support the development of regional commercialstrategies, and contribute to the execution of the region’s 5-year business plan and annual operating budgets.Drive the sales, capital expenditure, and expense budget process across the entire region. Communicate monthlyreporting packages, including sales, margin, operating expenses (Opex) analysis, headcount, and overallbusiness performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate guidelines. May manage employees.15% of domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, orforeign degree equivalent, and 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, or alternate acceptablerelated occupation.
  • Performing interpretive and predictive data analysis in the Fragrance & Beauty international marketplace toidentify key risks and opportunities for enhanced profitability.
  • Utilizing systems such as SAP, IBIS, PCDM, Tableau, and Power BI Analytics.
  • Collaborating with global accounts to build financial plans, including annual sales and operational expensebudgets.
  • Financial performance reporting, including analysis of sales, margins, OPEX, headcount, and overallperformance metrics.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives by evolving, streamlining, and automating processes.
  • Preparing and communicating sales forecasts with business leaders and budget owners for visibility onperformance and spend.
  • Interpreting data and performing financial analysis for business unit-related investments.
  • Performing ad-hoc and pro-active analysis to support a commercial organization.
