If so, we’d love to meet you. Join Select Medical’s Financial Planning & Analysis team and help support the financial performance of hospitals across the country. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with Finance and operational leaders to drive meaningful impact through analytics, forecasting, and strategic support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
  • 3–5 years of progressive business or financial analysis/reporting experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to independently research, analyze, and communicate financial information
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Working knowledge of ORACLE G/L, OneStream including Quickview Add On, and Strategy or similar database repository tool

Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate financial forecasting and reporting to support operational decision-making
  • Analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, drive performance, and enhance patient satisfaction
  • Supporting the development and presentation of the annual inpatient capital and operating budgets
  • Partnering with Directors of Finance and Business Development to prepare pro forma analyses for acquisitions, start-ups, and relocations
  • Analyzing consolidated financial statements
  • Supporting our joint venture partners through the preparation of quarterly board reports and strategic financial analysis
  • Testing and reviewing finance systems implementations and enhancements
  • Delivering complex ad hoc analyses for hospital leadership, including evaluating the impact of regulatory changes
