About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-driven Analyst to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team while serving as a key steward of Customer and Vendor Master Data. This role is responsible for managing the creation, maintenance, and governance of Customer and Vendor master records within enterprise systems, as well as producing daily, weekly, and monthly FP&A reporting to support Finance, Operations, and the broader business. The Analyst will act as a critical link between FP&A, cross-functional business partners, and enterprise applications to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards. In addition to reporting, this role will analyze trends, identify performance drivers, and help the business track and manage key KPIs. By maintaining high-quality master data and delivering reliable, insight-driven reporting, this role directly supports financial decision-making, operational efficiency, and data governance initiatives. This position is located on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota and this role is an on-site position with availability for occasional work-from-home flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, master data management, or ERP-related roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards is a specific plus) and CRM platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or SQL is a plus.
  • Experience managing Customer and Vendor Master records and supporting recurring financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain Customer and Vendor Master records within ERP and CRM systems (e.g., JDE, Salesforce) following approved workflows.
  • Validate master data inputs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with financial and operational policies.
  • Monitor master data changes and resolve discrepancies that impact downstream financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Operations, IT) to align data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of master data governance policies, controls, and SOPs.
  • Perform regular data quality audits and remediation activities to ensure reporting integrity.
  • Train internal users on master data standards and best practices to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in data cleansing, enrichment, and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly FP&A reports, including revenue, expense, margin, and operational metrics.
  • Support month-end close activities through validation of Customer and Vendor data used in financial reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc financial analysis in support of FP&A leadership.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards tracking FP&A metrics and data quality KPIs.
