About The Position

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the backbone of Google the global data centers, network, and integrating hardware and software that power Google’s products. It is a complex, technical, and rapidly evolving space that continues to see significant growth. The TI Central Planning and Reporting Finance team is growing rapidly with ample opportunities to grow and advance your career. As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral finance partner to the rapidly growing TI teams. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and lead headcount projects/programs with TI strategy and operations and TI business partners (e.g., strategy planning, zero based budgeting, resource optimization).
• Interface with internal TI Finance and Accounting teams regarding TI headcount.
• Help drive TI's Volume based headcount modeling.
• Lead the adaptation of AI/ML and reduce operational burden across the team.
• Support TI Finance leadership on critical initiatives.
