About The Position

Nasdaq is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Divisional Reporting & Analytics team within FP&A. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Divisional Reporting & Analytics, and support the Divisional CFO and Business Unit CFOs by delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting forecasting and budget processes, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making for the Capital Assess Platforms Division at Nasdaq. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted finance partner, working closely with business unit finance leads to inform capital allocation, track performance, and provide clear, actionable insights. This position offers strong exposure to senior leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and the opportunity to meaningfully influence financial strategy in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 0-2 Years Experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Divisional and Business Unit CFOs and Finance Leads to support budget setting, forecasting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate financial goals
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and variance commentary versus actuals, budget, and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, and risks/opportunities to inform decision‑making
  • Support month-end close and forecast processes, including recording accurate transactions and ensuring data integrity across reporting and planning outputs
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and performance management for the Capital Access Platforms Division
  • Prepare and present financial reporting and executive‑level insights to senior management, while continuously improving financial processes, models, and systems to enhance efficiency and analytical rigor

  • The base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $123,000.
