Explore Opportunities Today A Day in the life A day in the life of a Financial Analyst – Corporate FP&A at Stanley Martin involves supporting the preparation and analysis of financial reports, consolidating data from divisions and subsidiaries, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You’ll work on developing and maintaining financial models, creating data visualizations to highlight trends, and preparing reporting packages for senior leadership. Your day may also include collaborating with subsidiaries to update financial reports, streamlining processes through automation, and providing insights to finance leadership to support decision-making. Whether analyzing performance drivers or assisting with ad hoc reporting requests, your work contributes to the company’s financial health while upholding Stanley Martin’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships and clearly communicate insights to drive success in this role. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office with Proficiency in Excel
  • Relevant work or internship experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to build strong relationships and clearly communicate insights

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial reporting tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or business intelligence software is a plus
