About The Position

The Community Hospice, Inc. is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will work closely with our home care and pace teams performing accounting and analytical functions. The ideal candidate should have a four-year degree in accounting or business administration with strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2-3 years of accounting of analyst work in an office environment helpful (this is an in-office position).
• We are willing to train the right candidate in this sector of health care.
• Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Working hours are 7:30-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Month end Revenue/AR reconciliation between the Epic billing system and general ledger.
• General ledger review, analytics and reconciliation for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Month end reporting with Corporate Finance team within deadlines set.
• Reporting of monthly statistics.
• Annual reporting including cost reports, utilization reports, audits, IRS filings.
• overseeing AP to ensure appropriate expense coding and timeliness of processing.
• Backup to Hospice Foundation Financial Analyst and SNF Billing reconciliation.
