About The Position

primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant- Clarendon center is to provide administrative, secretarial and clerical support to the Director of Financial Aid Assist the Director of Financial Aid in carrying out the College’s student financial aid and assistance programs, including but not limited to: o Pell Grants o Texas Public Education Grants o Loans o Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants o WIA assistance o Veterans Education and Vocational Rehabilitation and Hazelwood o Federal Workstudy Program o Texas Grants o Institutional Scholarships and Aid o Maintain student files Assist the Director of Financial Aid in counseling and/or assisting students and/or their families in regards to federal, state, and local financial aid programs and awarding of student financial aid and scholarships. Provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the employees of the Clarendon campus as needed Communicate an accurate image of the College as a means of informing others about opportunities at the college. Work on standing and ad hoc communities of the college, as assigned and serve on the crisis management team Support college activities and special events through attendance and/or participation Comply with all college policies, rules, and regulations Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid and/or the president. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Financial Aid in counseling and/or assisting students and/or their families in regards to federal, state, and local financial aid programs and awarding of student financial aid and scholarships.
  • Provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the employees of the Clarendon campus as needed
