Internship Overview The Financial Advisory Internship provides hands-on experience and practical exposure to the career path of a financial advisor. Interns will work closely with our Financial Coaches, Advisors, and Planning Team , gaining insight into both the technical and entrepreneurial aspects of running a client-focused advisory practice. This internship emphasizes learning how advisors: Build and maintain client relationships Develop financial plans and investment strategies Use financial planning technology Manage and grow a successful advisory practice Interns will participate in mentorship, shadowing opportunities, and project-based learning while supporting the advisory team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Financial Planning, or a related field
  • Rising junior or senior at a four-year institution preferred
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team
  • Interest in financial markets, investments, and financial planning strategies

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with financial technology or CRM systems is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the advisory team to support client service and firm objectives
  • Assist with preparation for client meetings and financial planning reviews
  • Observe financial advisors during meetings and planning sessions
  • Support research related to investments, financial planning strategies, and market trends
  • Assist with data entry and organization within financial planning and CRM systems
  • Help improve internal processes and workflows within the advisory team
  • Learn and apply the firm’s financial planning philosophy and investment approach
  • Contribute to projects that support client service and operational efficiency
