Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of motivation, discipline, and resilience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong networking ability
  • Interest in financial planning or wealth management
  • Background in sales, athletics, leadership, military service, or client-facing roles is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Willing to undergo a background check
  • Candidate must have a car and the ability to commute to the Wellesley office (within 45 minutes - 1 hour)

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed (Life & Health, Series 6/7/63, etc.) – preferred but not required
  • Analytical thinking skills and ability to assess client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective sales, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and grow
  • Career changer or experienced in sales, business development, or client-facing roles
  • Former college athlete or military background
  • Entrepreneurial mindset or prior business ownership
  • Ivy League or J.D. background (a plus, not required)
  • Track record of professional success (e.g., $100K+ earnings in a previous role)
  • Experience working with or currently being advised by a financial professional

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Conduct financial needs analysis and goal-based planning
  • Develop customized financial strategies using insurance and investment solutions
  • Educate clients on financial planning, retirement strategies, and wealth protection
  • Grow and manage your own book of business
  • Participate in professional training and licensing programs
  • Work closely with experienced advisors and mentors
