About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Financial Advisor Lead for its Ames offices. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: Assist team and patients to resolve billing related questions. Assist patients in finding solutions to balances owed. Work with insurance companies and other third party entities. Work with clinical areas to provide estimates. Will have multiple work queues and reports to maintain. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
  • One year work experience in a medical clinic setting.
  • Word processing and computer experience.
  • Problem solving and de-escalation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of medical terminology preferred.
