The Role As a Finance Vice President in the Development Services business unit, you will be a leading member of the team responsible for securing and developing early-stage public infrastructure projects as well as the commercial and financial structuring of projects that advance through the development process. You will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative, cost-effective and financeable infrastructure projects. This role will have a particular focus on forecasting and optimizing revenue generation from infrastructure assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in real estate, energy or infrastructure development (principal or advisory role), investment banking, project finance or related field.
  • Experience with structured debt and equity financing, familiarity with the development and use of cash flow models, familiarity with financing and funding tools applicable to infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with real estate and/or infrastructure contract structures and ability to negotiate commercial terms with project owners, subcontractors and offtakers.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities; strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with public-private partnerships and similar structures is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial and commercial structuring of development stage public infrastructure projects (transportation, energy, water, digital infra).
  • Collaborate with the internal development team in the overall management of the development process and counterparty negotiations.
  • Develop business cases, revenue forecasts and feasibility analysis for a diverse range of project and asset types, with a particular focus on identifying new revenue generation and value maximization opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage team members who build detailed cash flow models for infrastructure projects including P3 and private development structures. Provide direction for financial and other scenario analyses.
  • Lead the analysis of funding opportunities and strategies, including grants and governmental lending programs, and pursue where appropriate.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with contract counterparties (in coordination with development and legal teams), including negotiation and documentation of appropriate risk allocation.
  • Oversee the drafting of financial and commercial sections of proposals, board materials, and investment committee documents.
  • Preparing financing plans, credit term sheets, and funding applications.
  • Internal project management and reporting tasks as required.
