They assist the team’s various functions by assisting with auditing, budget template preparation, financial modeling, accounting support, cash management and other special projects. Measures of success: Maintains accurate records for assigned tasks Makes suggestions to improve efficiency of assigned processes Ensured understanding of all requested tasks
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or Finance
- Highly motivated with a growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- No travel required
Nice To Haves
- Currently in Junior or Senior year
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
Responsibilities
- Assists accounting team as needed with month end / quarter end tasks.
- Prepares financial schedules and templates for the annual budget.
- Prepares and tracks departmental expense templates during budget process.
- Prepares various daily reports.
- Assists with systems work, such as managing specific vendors to lessen workload in Accounts Payable (AP) and working on the OneStream project dimension.
- Assists the accounting staff with projects as needed for Taco subsidiaries such as Hydroflo and Taco Canada.
