About The Position

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a full time Finance Specialist to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. The Finance Specialist is responsible for accurate financial transactions across the organization. This position plays a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting employees with timely, reliable financial services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience in a related field
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information
  • Ability to learn and apply intermediate computer skills, including the use of software and other web-based systems
  • If driving is an essential function of the position, possession of a valid driver’s license, otherwise, reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed
  • Successful completion of required background screening standards relevant to the position

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, complete, and monitor all financial paperwork in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with year‑end processes, including financial and state audits
  • Perform assigned month‑end and year‑end closing duties
  • Support ongoing departmental improvements, including process enhancements and system upgrades
  • Review and process employee expense reports and/or enter supplier invoices into the financial system
  • Research and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring thorough follow‑up
  • Maintain supplier records, including ACH payment management, address updates, electronic invoice submission, and collection of updated W‑9s
  • Train employees on expense report procedures and provide timely responses to related questions
  • Follow up on outstanding expense reports and invoices to ensure timely payments
  • Run periodic reports to identify unprocessed expense reports and communicate findings to relevant departments
  • Collect, enter, and maintain SNAP data for each region, tracking funds received and spent
  • Conduct detailed analysis and audit projects as needed
  • Provide backup support for other Finance Department tasks as required
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects and initiatives as requested
