About The Position

The Finance & Site Controller leads financial operations at a manufacturing site, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and operational alignment with corporate standards. This role manages a small finance team, drives budgeting and forecasting processes, supports decision-making, and partners with site leadership to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and accounting management
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to commute to the site
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with financial procedures and Group policies
  • Develop and maintain internal finance procedures, including spending authorizations
  • Oversee site compliance with product flow, inventory, and internal controls
  • Manage internal audits, self-audits, and external tax reviews
  • Maintain adherence to corporate finance standards
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Present monthly financial reviews to site and regional leadership
  • Coordinate external audits and compliance reporting
  • Ensure reliability of standard costing and perform variance analysis
  • Manage CapEx, inventory, cash, and fixed assets at the site level
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
  • Monitor budget vs actuals and provide actionable variance insights
  • Support financial modeling, profitability analysis, and decision-ready analytics
  • Validate post-launch program financials and track variances
  • Drive key performance metrics aligned with company objectives
  • Design dashboards to monitor production-to-plan and delivery performance
  • Support cost optimization and productivity initiatives
  • Act as strategic partner to site leadership
  • Contribute to site strategic planning and action plans
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending solutions
  • Monitor plant profitability and operational alignment
  • Join program launch teams and ensure financial data integration
  • Monitor start-up performance vs business plan
  • Validate post-launch program financials
  • Lead a team of 4–5 (cost accountant, staff accountant, interns)
  • Coach and develop finance team members
  • Foster a culture of performance, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Enhance financial awareness across operational teams
