The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes, we’d like to hear from you. GCU Evening Classes - Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus and are offered once a week in the evening Course: Finance Principles This course is designed for individuals who are preparing for more advanced coursework in accounting and is designed for students who have not had finance in undergraduate work. Topics covered include financial analysis, financial planning, asset evaluation, capital structure, and working capital management. Requirements

  • Minimum: Masters in Business Administration OR Masters in Finance OR Masters in Financial Economics.
  • Graduate degree must be from a regionally accredited university
  • AACSB accredited program or ACBSP accredited program

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: PhD/DBA Finance or Doctorate in another business discipline with Finance emphasis.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
