The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Ft. Leonard Wood AFB campus. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes, we’d like to hear from you. GCU Evening Classes - Ft. Leonard Wood AFB: Courses are in-person and on-campus and are offered once a week in the evening Course: Project Management This course is a study of the challenges associated with managing projects within the context of the overarching management framework of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Emphasis is placed on balancing competing priorities related to human resources, time constraints, and physical resources/materials, as well as managing and controlling project scope.

Requirements

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) AND Project Management Professional (PMP) certification AND minimum of five years of project management experience.
  • Your unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above

Nice To Haves

  • PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related business discipline AND Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required if Doctorate is not in a business discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
