The Finance Operations Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across operational processes. This role collaborates closely with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Reconciliations and financial reporting while driving process improvements, supporting strategic initiatives and risk mitigation. High ethical standards and analytical ability are essential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial system (Oracle Cloud) and MS Office (Excel).
  • English (required) - Spanish (preferable but not mandatory).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of following detailed instructions.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to evolving business challenges.
  • Ability to manage change and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Cash pooling model and Futures/swaps knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Review, validate and approve payments including prepayments, electronic, withholding, and extraordinary transactions.
  • Provide visibility into financial resources with accurate forecasting as well as manage daily cash flow.
  • Maintain strong relationships with bank partners following corporate guidelines.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and process daily margin requirements for futures and swaps
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to treasury operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
  • Assist with physical inventory as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
