About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on Finance & Operations Specialist to take ownership of bookkeeping and day-to-day financial operations in a small U.S. entity of an international medical company. You’ll be the go-to person for everything related to finance — from managing QuickBooks and handling invoices to supporting operational processes and coordinating with international stakeholders. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work remotely and 1 day per week on-site in Wake Forest, NC.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (daily use)
  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge (GL, P&L, invoicing, reconciliation)
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of finance processes
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to be on-site once per week in Wake Forest, NC

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify or similar platforms
  • Background in small companies or standalone finance roles
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g. medical devices)

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks (GL, P&L, balance sheet accuracy)
  • Process incoming and outgoing invoices, payments, and collections
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure timely financial operations
  • Oversee order intake and support end-to-end order processing
  • Maintain Shopify and ensure proper integration with QuickBooks
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors / CPA
  • Monitor and respond to finance-related email accounts (customers, suppliers, warehouse)
  • Handle weekly physical mail, including checks and related admin tasks
