About The Position

Travelpro is seeking a Finance & Operations Analyst to support both the Finance and Operations departments with timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and insights. This individual will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, performing variance and trend analyses, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. This position offers broad exposure to both financial management and business operations, making it an excellent opportunity to develop a well-rounded foundation for a career in finance or operations. In this role you will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or prior analyst roles a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling, large data sets).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Teams, Powerpoint).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and present insights clearly.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Work Ethic: Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with willingness to work across finance and operations.
  • Equipment: PC Computer or Laptop

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial systems/ERP software preferred (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • SQL (or database), PowerBI, Business Intelligence software knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist with freight and duty analysis.
  • Support the weekly cashflow process.
  • Maintain and improve reporting tools, KPI’s, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management to support decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
