About The Position

Job purpose Responsible for onsite finance tasks including processing mail and checks. This job will help with a number of administrative and simple accounting tasks to assist the Associate Director of Finance and keep the Finance Department running smoothly.

  • This is an on-campus, in-person position.
  • This is a part time position, with 15-20 hours per week expected, but may be increased to 25 hours, depending on performance and department staffing needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate technological skills preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) preferred
  • Experience in a non-profit environment helpful

Responsibilities

  • Receive checks from Student Success and Stewardship, deposit to the appropriate bank accounts via the RDC machine, and record transactions in Sage Intacct. (25%)
  • Assist the Associate Director of Finance with bank and other account reconciliations. (25%)
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Clerk with the review and management of expenses reports and invoice processing. (15%)
  • Receive, review, and disseminate mail to appropriate team members. (15%)
  • Bookkeeping for the Food Services and WTS Shoppe (15%)
  • Other responsibilities as required by supervisor. (5%)
