Requirements
- Previous experience in procuring automotive loans.
- Strong knowledge of finance and leasing products, processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with a strong customer service focus.
- Corporate hiring requirements: 18 years or older with a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Manage the finance and insurance department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Oversee the completion of all financial and legal paperwork related to vehicle sales and financing.
- Guide customers through the financing process, providing transparent and accurate information on loan options, lease agreements, and aftermarket products.
- Evaluate credit applications and work with lending institutions to secure competitive financing terms for customers.
- Maximize profitability for the dealership by offering aftermarket products and extended warranties.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of automotive financing trends, regulations, and industry practices.
- Collaborate with sales staff to optimize customer satisfaction and ensure a seamless sales process.
- Train and mentor finance team members, fostering their growth and development within the dealership.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to finance and insurance practices.
- Implement strategies to increase finance department performance and profitability.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with lending institutions, vendors, and third-party partners.
