About The Position

This opportunity is with a newly acquired Private Equity backed portfolio company. The organization is experiencing significant growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, and it is seeking a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager is responsible for the oversight of the day‐to‐day accounting operations, the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, analyses, regulatory reporting, as well as the strategic financial planning and reporting. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Finance Manager is a key member of the organization's leadership team.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, with advanced expertise in revenue recognition and lease accounting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage deeply in financial details.
  • Proven success in building and leading finance teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong data comprehension.

  • Effective at influencing and collaborating with direct reports, peers, and senior management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial management.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA license or equivalent certification preferred or public accounting experience would be preferred

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership and accountability for all accounting operations, including daily cash management, accounts receivable and invoicing, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset subledgers, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage intercompany cash transactions.
  • Produce financial statements and supporting schedules in alignment with the monthly close calendar and GAAP requirements.
  • Oversee the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage regulatory reporting obligations, including local business tax filings.
  • Support the annual financial audit process by providing necessary documentation and responses.
  • Protect company assets by establishing, monitoring, and reviewing effective internal controls.
  • Lead the development of annual strategies, budgets, forecasts, monthly estimates, and business reviews in collaboration with the President and executive leadership team.
  • Drive initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and scalability to support business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Execute additional projects and duties as needed to support ongoing business objectives.
