About The Position

THE FINANCE MANAGER – SEEDS ACTS AS THE PRIMARY FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER TO THE SEEDS BUSINESSES. THE ROLE FOCUSES ON IMPROVING FINANCIAL VISIBILITY, STRENGTHENING COST DISCIPLINE, AND IDENTIFYING VALUE CREATION OPPORTUNITIES. THIS IS AN OPERATIONALLY EMBEDDED ROLE, NOT A CORPORATE OR TRANSACTIONAL FINANCE POSITION. THE EXPECTATION IS TO WORK CLOSELY WITH COMMERCIAL AND OPERATIONAL TEAMS, CHALLENGE ASSUMPTIONS, AND BRING CLARITY TO FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE.

Requirements

Strong business partnering mindset, able to work closely with non-finance stakeholders
Ability to challenge constructively and hold teams accountable without creating friction
Focus on practical outcomes, not just analysis
Ability to operate in environments where processes may not be fully structured
Balance between detail orientation and speed
Must be willing to travel to multiple US and ex-US locations as needed.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the dedicated finance partner to the Seeds leadership team, supporting day-to-day and strategic decision-making
Own financial reporting for the Seeds businesses, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and relevance of information
Identify and drive value creation opportunities, with a strong focus on cost structure, margins, and operational efficiency
Improve cost visibility and discipline, leveraging cost accounting expertise to enhance decision-making
Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes
Translate financial results into clear insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and required actions
Partner with operations and commercial teams to evaluate pricing, profitability, and investment decisions
Strengthen financial processes and controls where needed, without adding unnecessary complexity
Support ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by business leadership
Other duties as assigned
